Unlike a traditional built-in CarPlay stereo, Nomad operates more like an Android tablet. You can download compatible apps directly to the device, including popular music, streaming, sports, navigation, and entertainment apps. When a Wi-Fi network is not available, connect Nomad to your phone’s mobile hotspot to stream directly from the touchscreen.

Apple CarPlay and Android Auto operate through a dedicated app on Nomad. Simply open the CarPlay or Android Auto app, connect your compatible phone, and access supported phone features through the Nomad touchscreen. When you want to use apps directly on Nomad, exit the phone-integration app and open the Android app of your choice.
