Step 3 · Install
Front Drill Mount Installation
Assemble the Top Hooks
Combine each Top Hook, M4 Screw, M4 Lock Washer, and T-Nut as shown.
Load the Top Hooks
Insert one assembled Top Hook into the center channel of each Drill Mount Bar.
Install the Bottom Hooks
Insert two M4 Set Screws into each Bottom Hook. Position the hooks on the Drill Mount Bars and tighten them with the 2 mm Hex Key.
Position and Secure the Drill Mount Bars
Choose a height that leaves room for accessories without blocking the driver’s view or dashboard. Pre-drill the frame with a 1/8 in. drill bit, then secure each Drill Mount Bar with two M4 Tapping Screws.
Prepare the CADDYBAR™
Thread one M4 Set Screw into each T-Nut and slide the T-Nuts into the bottom channel. Install the End Caps only after the T-Nuts are in place.
Important: The T-Nuts and M4 Set Screws must be inserted before the End Caps.
Lock the CADDYBAR™ in Place
Set the CADDYBAR™ onto the Bottom Hooks. Slide the lower T-Nuts against the Bottom Hooks and tighten with the 2 mm Hex Key. Slide each Top Hook into the upper channel and tighten its M4 Screw with the 3 mm Hex Key.
Complete the Final Check
Gently pull on the bar to verify that it is firmly attached. Recheck every fastener before installing accessories.

Step 3 · Install
Front No-Drill Installation
Test Both Clamp Assemblies
Place the clamps around the windshield struts to test the fit. If a clamp can slide, apply Rubber Pads to the inside of the Inner Clamp. Use only enough pads to create a secure fit without misaligning the screw and PEM nut.
Orient the Clamps
Face each mounting flange toward the CADDYBAR™. Reverse the mount on the opposite windshield strut so both flanges point inward toward the bar. If you use a soft enclosure, choose the orientation that allows the enclosure to wrap around each strut and mount.
Preload Both Universal Mounts
Insert an M5 × 14 mm Screw and M5 T-Nut into each Universal Mount. Leave a 2–4 mm gap between each mount and T-Nut.
Attach Both Universal Mounts to the Bar
Slide one Universal Mount into each end of the CADDYBAR™ and tighten the M5 × 14 mm hardware with the 3 mm Hex Key. If a T-Nut is tight, use a rubber mallet to advance the mount gently. Install the End Caps.
Clamp the Bar to Both Windshield Struts
Place each Outer and Inner Clamp around its strut at the desired height. Secure each assembly with two M5 × 20 mm Screws and tighten evenly with the 3 mm Hex Key.
Complete the Final Check
Gently pull on both sides of the bar. Confirm that neither clamp can slide or rotate, and recheck all fasteners before adding accessories.

Step 3 · Install
Mini / Mini XL No-Drill Installation
Choose the Mounting Side and Test the Clamp
Choose the driver or passenger windshield strut and test the clamp fit. The Universal Mount is reversible, allowing the bar to extend inward or outward. If the clamp slides, apply Rubber Pads to the inside of the Inner Clamp.
Orient the Clamp
Face the mounting flange in the direction you want the Mini to extend. If you use a soft enclosure, choose the orientation that allows the enclosure to wrap around the strut and mount.
Preload the Universal Mount
Insert the M5 × 14 mm Screw and M5 T-Nut into the Universal Mount. Leave a 2–4 mm gap between the mount and T-Nut.
Attach the Mini Bar
Slide the Universal Mount into the Mini or Mini XL channel and tighten the M5 × 14 mm hardware with the 3 mm Hex Key. If the T-Nut is tight, use a rubber mallet to advance the mount gently. Install both End Caps.
Clamp the Mini to the Windshield Strut
Place the Outer and Inner Clamps around the strut at the desired height. Secure the assembly with two M5 × 20 mm Screws and tighten evenly with the 3 mm Hex Key.
Complete the Final Check
Gently pull and rotate the Mini to confirm the clamp cannot slide. Recheck all fasteners before adding accessories.
Mini capacity: Use no more than two compatible accessories at one time. The CADDYBAR™ Cooler is not compatible with Mini or Mini XL.
Step 4 · Accessorize
Complete Your CADDYBAR™ Setup
The following instructions apply after your selected bar installation is secure.
Install an Accessory
Tilt the accessory so the rear upper hooks of the molded tray align with the bar’s top pocket. Rotate the accessory toward the bar as shown. Push or snap the accessory into its final upright position against the bar. A "click" or gentle resistance indicates it is securely attached.
Remove an Accessory
Start by pulling on the bottom tab to release the snap connection. Tilt the accessory outward, rotating it slightly away from the bar. Once the accessory is tilted enough to clear the snap, pull it upward to disengage the rear hooks from the bar’s top pocket, and lift it away completely.
Mobile Device Holder
- Loosen the handle on the phone holder shaft. As you loosen the handle, one side of the shaft will begin to open. Continue to loosen until that side is opened large enough to fit over the 25mm ball located on the accessory clip. Assemble this end of the shaft onto the 25mm ball.
- Pinch this side together with one hand while inserting the 17mm ball adapter into the other end. You may need to loosen up the handle a little more to get it to fit.
- Once this adapter is inserted, tighten the handle to lock in place.
- Assemble either the phone clamp or the magnetic holder by unscrewing the nut on the back just enough to snap the 17mm ball end in place, then tighten the nut.
**NOTE:** Do not loosen the handle too much or it will completely unthread and fall apart, requiring it to be reassembled.
**NOTE:** If using the magnet holder and you do not have a magnet built into your phone or case, install the included magnetic ring on the back of your phone/case.
Tablet Holder Assembly
- Using the 4 supplied screws, assemble the 25mm ball with plate to the back side of the tablet holder.
- Loosen the handle on the phone holder shaft until one side opens to fit over the 25mm ball on the accessory clip. Assemble this end onto the ball.
- Pinch this side together with one hand while inserting the 25mm ball on the back of the tablet holder into the other end.
- Tighten the handle to lock the assembly in place.
**NOTE:** Do not loosen the handle too much or it will completely unthread and fall apart, requiring it to be reassembled.
